Technical Department
The Technical Department is involved with the proper monitoring and maintenance of mechanical parts and auxiliary equipment of vessels and makes sure that our vessels comply to Class Societes’ and Flag Rules and Regulations and that they are up to the standards required by Port State Control inspectors. Our company’s Superintendent Engineers pay frequent visits to the vessels to attest the condition of engines and the relevant inventory. Proper maintenance is achieved by daily monitoring of vessels’ performance and their surveys. In addition the Technical Department closely follows up the vessels’ Certification (Trading and Class Certificates) and ensures that these are renewed timely.
